La Boca Loca: Authentic Cuban and Colombian Cuisine in Reidsville

Authentic Cuban and Colombian meals. Good food and good service. There are no fountain soft drinks. They are by the 12oz can. We had the BBQ sandwich, Maduro, Arepas, and Spinach with cheese empanada.

Carolina and Miho were hospitable and attentive as they were the first time we visited. The food was as beautiful as it was delicious. It was served hot and fresh practically right in front of us. There are so many options even for my teenage daughter with a sensitive palate. She does not care for the steak from a popular steak restaurant, but she was impressed by the steak here and even commented that it was almost as good as mine. The sanitation rating is 100% ! The ambiance, the food, the people, the desserts and the cafecito will not disappoint. My only complaint is that their desserts sell out very quickly like the flan and tres leches. Even though we came in near to closing, we never felt rushed as in other restaurants, but rather we were treated like family. I live about 45 minutes away and this restaurant is worth the drive. It is a must if you live in the vicinity or are visiting. Thank you George, Carolina, Miho and the others for the delicious food and awesome service. Nos Vemos pronto.

This was good, it’s great to see that some are opening up some of the storefronts in Reidsville. The owner and his wife are very genuine people. The food is definitely a departure from the norm in Reidsville. I will be definitely returning.

I ordered the chicken rice bowl. It was amazing and everything was very fresh. bathrooms were very clean. Husband-and-wife are the cooks and owners and very involved in the business.

The best food in Reidsville. Cuban sandwich with made-in-house fresh ingredients: Slow-Roasted Pork & Homemade Bread! Fried Plantains were fantastic! 10 out of 10

Update 2025: I still like the food, but it has changed in quality and price. I know this place has had a lot of issues, but almost doubling the price on the empanadas while making them smaller did not go unnoticed. I would stop here every chance I got, but now I only go every once in a while. Also, it became so unpredictable with their hours of operation that it was so hard to find it open, especially at towards the end of 2024. Best food around!! Loved everything we tried. From the Colombian empanadas to the stuffed tostones, everything was so carefully crafted and quick. Great customer service as well as the great atmosphere. It was close to closing time when we went and they even gave us some merengues to try for free. The only thing they could improve would be to expand their dining area. I will continue to support this local business.

Enjoyed an El Cubano sandwich & Maduros for lunch. My brother devoured the Cuban Nachos with chicken. The roast pork on the sandwich was some of the best I’ve ever tasted in all of my travels. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and so juicy. The staff were friendly, answered our questions, (as it was our first visit,) and made recommendations. Highly recommend!!

I chatted with The owners for a bit and it's an Incredible Story! A Tru Story of Quitting Corporate America to Chase a Dream! The environment is friendly, they had 100 for sanitation score which is amazing, but the Food was INCREDIBLE! I got a chicken rice bowl with mixed beans and pico. I mixed the Avocado Lime sauce with the Chimichurri, it was a match made in Heaven! If you want incredible food from incredible people, this is the place to try out! Would Highly recommend to everyone reading this!
